Pretty spectacular 21st century choir

I should say, first of all, that if choirs had been virtual when I was in high school, I would have missed out on a major opportunity for co-ed interaction: the Baldwin-Haverford concert.  Sad because those Haverford chorus boys were sooooooooo dreamy.

That said, we never produced a product this interesting — I can’t believe the scale and final quality of this one.

(Apologies for no credit on this find.  Honestly, I know I saw this video come through on Google Reader about 10 times this week but just saved the YouTube link).

Because a dive bar is exactly where you want to make something legal

I was in Detroit last weekend and while I didn’t go to Bronx Bar myself, I heard stories.  Apparently, Jack White used to hang out there all the time and, more interestingly, the bartenders are notary publics.

I didn’t really believe the second part of that one, so @idamaster provided us with proof.

Pretty epic string of TV theme songs

Meant to post this earlier and got lazy and finally Kali mentioned on the phone that since I haven’t updated this week, her classmates were getting freaked out by her constantly looking at photos of baby dictators. Fair point.

The cutest dictators ever

Not to stifle this woman’s creativity, but I’m pretty creeped out by the whole “dressing up her baby like Stalin” thing.  Still better than the Anne Geddes-babies-in-cabbage-leaves thing…

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

I’m 50% Irish and still not a big corned beef & cabbage fan, but I do love this recipe. And I think it’s the first recipe infographic I’ve ever seen… awesome!
